Higgo brings home the form guide for the up and coming playoffs.

Pool A predictions:

So the markets are out on the first group 1 in March along with previews. First up we see only a 3 horse race but don't let that fool you as the quality of horses is of a high quality. With it being a 3 horse race it will be a strategic run race. We can see ShutTheFuckUp taking the lead out of the barriers with a quick jump out. He will be closely followed by The Silver Fox. Eighteen K Winnings will then take a nice seat behind that. Will be interesting to see if The Silver Fox puts the pressure on ShutTheFuckUp early and push the tempo. This move could be vital as if it comes off it will be a big advantage to The Silver Fox. If not, it could result in ShutTheFuckUp being too strong in the finish. But then again, if the push it too hard the quietly ridden 18 K Winnings will be able to peel off their backs and run home strongly. I'm thinking it will be a bob of the head finish so would be hard to tip.

Pool B predictions:

Ok as promised we have the preview of the Group 2 race. Very tough field to find a winner as all these horses have claims of winning the prize. So let's go through the field:

Law & Order - Probably the favourite to take out the race with his recent runs. Had a win last start which had followed a 2nd placing. Usually switches off in the early start of the race and then picks up the tempo coming around the bend. Definitely will be there abouts

Vegas Baby - we have been blessed to have a quality international horse in the race. Usually resides in the United States but occasionally comes to our shores to race in Melbourne and Adelaide. A horse with many tricks and is very adaptable in any situation. If he is on his game he will be hard to hold out.

Diamond Lil - Very honest Galloper. The connection of this horse always know they will get the best out of her every race. A consistent runner who might sit mid field to see what the front runners are doing before making a move to pass and take the win.

Kjell come lately - Half brother of Johnny come Lately but should be more half brother to Pakistan Star by the racing pattern it runs. Very slow out of the gates....thats if it wants to leave the gates, and sits at the tail of the field due to his late jump out (of bed). But don't let that fool you. He has a wicked turn of pace and if he finds the right running line on the day he will blow his rivals away.

The Scientist - An erratic horse but very dangerous. Has won prize money in overseas races so can not dismiss. Very confident horse along, which is a reflection of his very chirpy jockey. Has the runs on the board and wouldn't surprise me to see him first past the finishing post.

Cocco Cabana - only a small horse but has a lot of kick. If a horse decides to take it up to him he might say "yeah why not" and take up the challenge. Can get a good lead into the race (pot), and if he wins enough sectionals throughout the race he will be smiling at the finish. Pass the Vodka - Big strapping horse with (hopefully) a lot of upside. Carrying a lot of weight which is a disadvantage but has come back nicely from a spell with a first and second. Will sit quietly midfield and let the pacesetters fight it out at the start. Will be hugging the barrier to try and pick up cheap sectionals. If he gets his head In front it might be hard to make up the ground on him.

So there we have it. The preview to the hotly contested group 2 race. Lots of contenders in this open field and let's hope for your sake you are on the right horse. And remember, gamble responsibly 😀😀

Nice work Higgo! If anyone else has anything they want to see up here send it through. This is the LVC website.
